Purpose of Position: 

Providing support Marketing and Communication efforts as well as Educational programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. This position is expected, with minimal supervision, to provide support and trouble-shooting as needed to the Weatherization Program Supervisor, including the following duties:

  • Creating an sending e-blasts and e-newsletters
  • Updating website content
  • Updating and maintaining Google Adwords campaign
  • Maintaining social media content and campaigns
  • Provide support for CCI’s annual fundraiser
  • Prove support for the advocacy speaker series, Stepping up
  • Sending out promotional materials
  • Booking and confirming vendors, organizational registration information and assisting with event promotion for events
Skills and Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in the absence of supervision; to take responsibility for completing assignments when needed; and to take initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Experience with basic social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
  • Experience with Constant Contact or other e-marketing software a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Drupal or other website content management platforms a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Google Adwords a plus but not required.
  • Must have valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle when needed for work assignments, and provide proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and ascend and descend two flights of stairs daily.

Part-time position, up to 16 hours per week, during normal CCI hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a temporary position that will last until the end of the summer.
